2nd Bateman's Store Opening Soon!

That's right folks, Bateman's will soon have a brand new 2,000 sq/ft store full of more of the great bikes, accessory selection and friendly staff you have grown to love at our Barton Avenue location!

Why the new store? We have been bursting at the seams at our current Barton Ave location and for some time have been contemplating the best way to expand Bateman's Bicycle Company to serve you better.

In the fall of 2011 we were approached by the owner of Bathurst Cycle, who explained his plans to retire, and his desire to offer Bateman's Bicycle Company the first opportunity to take over his store. After considerable thought, it was decided that this would be the right move for Bateman's. You will now find all the things you love about Bateman's Bicycle Company at two unique Annex locations.

We love our existing store on Barton Avenue. It is right on Bike Route 16, and cyclists enjoy our street level location on this quiet commuter route. This store will become known as Annex Cycle by Bateman's and you will continue to find a wide selection of accessories and great service, along with discounted and used bikes for sale.

The new location at 913 Bathurst Street will become Bateman's Bicycle Company and will be filled with a huge selection of new bikes from all your favourite brands, as well as tonnes of accessories and a spacious service area. This will be a place to come browse and hang out.

We plan to open the new store by mid-February with a Bateman's appropriate grand opening to take place in the spring once the warm weather arrives.

Work crews are hard at work renovating the store and infusing it with Bateman's style. Here's a sneak peak at what been going on...
